    Description

    BPOE Elks Memorabilia-1905 Buffalo Reunion-very rare "Pair"(Member and his Lady). Shipped FREE by USPS First Class. Purchased at an Estate sale from the great grandson of the member with all dated 1901 to 1910 and many with the accompanying ladies medal which is quite rare for this period. (Elks being an all male fraternal organization at that time) The gentleman was a " District Deputy GER" (See his DDGER medal listed) and apparently he held higher positions in the state of NY Elks.  These are 116 yrs. old in excellent condition with no chipping and  a light patina. Please note-see picture- the pin is missing from the member medal. (most likely was a safety pin soldered to the back which was typical for this period) Made by Schneider & Betz Jewelers of Buffalo Ny.  This sale is for both medals and will not be separated.
